To cope with this condition you are doing what all sufferers do, try to get more of what ails you, like an Alcoholic you think that 'just one more' is going to slake your thirst.
I'm sorry to tell you this but it won't and it never will.
You are like a the fat fuck that can't stop eating.
You don't need 'more' you need 'less'.
I have just solved your problem, but just like the fat-fuck food junkie and the dipsomaniacal drunkard you simply will not either accept or believe what I am telling you.
Luckily for you, you won't suffer an explosive heart-attack like a fat-fuck on a food binge or suffer Cirrhosis of the Liver as an Alcoholic might... with your ailment you suffer in your head, your ailment fucks your head up good and proper.
It's a torment, you can have as much as you want yet you are never satisfied for more than a few seconds.
It's the number of the cars you own and the will-o'-the-wisp nature of enjoying them that is destroying your mind and making you restless.
If you want to solve your problem (and it is one that will grow like a cancer in your mind, trust me) you must cut back on the cars.
Stopping fucking buying them, literally... not 'one more for the road'...
Ditch all your cars.
Sell them and whilst selling them, as they leave one by one think about what car would you own if you could only now ever have just one... when, and only when, you are about to sell your last car from your 'fleet of dissatisfaction' you have found that single car buy it and stick with it for a year, you cannot buy any other.
When you've done this you will be cured of the disease that is in your mind right now.
I will send you a huge bill at around this time (as all 'shrinks' do) for having saved your sorry arse from the turmoil you are now in.
Less cars, more peace of mind.

I am actually trying to reduce. I've just sold the 16m, gtr is now up for sale and Honda will be too.
A lot of truth in what you say and if you look at it I have some overlap but not much.
Maserati is my daily and a good choice as I need to take 4 people often out.
Aventador needs no explanation. V12, mid engined 4wd loveliness
Same for Speciale.
M3 GTS is for Trackdays.
So, csl is a complete overlap of the GtS but it has massive sentimental value. Bought it 2003 and had to sell it. Was able to buy it back and regain some of the memories in there.
Gtr is amazing, but redundant now. Honda too.
Nsx is intriguing but can see me either cancelling or flipping
i can house 5 in the garage and one outside for me or face the wife's wrath.
So Aventador, Speciale, csl, GtS and Honda will go in garage. When Honda is sold will replace with a convertible. Maserati stays outside. Simples!

I had a list of things I was interested in, many have dropped off for various reasons. Some sampled are sold, for example the 16m I bought last year, so I'm hardly addicted. I also made a very nice profit.
Should also say over th last 6 months I've looked at and turned down more cars than I've bought!

We'll have you down to a proper fighting weight soon enough.
You don't have to go into an anorexic convulsion of vomiting all your cars into the market at once. what you are doing in slowly getting shot of them is a good way to go.
I think getting a stable set then rotating certain ones is where I'm headed. For example, the csl and GtS are keepers. I don't know about Speciale, Aventador... They could get replaced or converge. Th MC Strad will get cycled for other cars no doubt.
One day I may find the perfect car, cease trackdays etc and sell things... As long as I can ebb and flow a bit on values and not lose too much, then no harm really. I am drawing the line with needing mor storage than I have. Stupid to pay to store cars. That's definitely a sign of too many.

Where was the SL65 Black Tony? I would like one of those some day.
Was at Romans last Feb/March, black one. Was mega and definitely a bit of me, but too much I felt at £200k.

Ah, the same one as at Tom Hartley (Snr) now and now at 190k. I reckon it's a 150k car and no more but I don't want black either. Romans had a Palladium silver car which I hesitated on and it went next day. That was in 2012 and sold for 160k iirc.
Agree at 150k its worth a good look!
