London super car grab

Meanwhile, residents are dying everyday from the knifecrime epidemic, shoplifting is completely out of control etc etc. London is a shithole these days and its not because of loud cars.

I wouldn't want to be hit by an uninsured driver, so my vote is arrest the c*nts. There seems to be a big trend at the moment for motorbikes revving to the max at around 10-11pm in Knightsbridge, doesn't sound much but its stupidly loud in a residential area. Wakes my daughter who starts crying as she is not even 2. So i am thinking of taking a baseball bat to one of their bikes soon. You can read about it in the papers when i do 😉

Stopped wearing my watch so much too.

I also have a car spotter stalker so i am on a roll.......

ding ding ding jackpot! 😀

ERS have arranged an insurance scheme for UAE cars that come here for their owners holiday - I just wonder how or if the MID could update with the differing reg formats - the people driving should keep a copy in the car though.
So this could be sensationalism from the journos

Car spotters these days have 0 respect for anything - it's becoming an issue at my work too.

They do seem to be especially bad down in London though - they just mob anything and everything tat makes a loud noise.

I cant think of a worse place to drive a supercar now.

I used to go in later at night with my son, we'd cruise round the sites, I used to show him where I worked and it was nice, but now I'd be concerned about getting mugged at traffic lights or a 20mph speeding fine so we've not been for years, its a shame I used to love London now it seems a place to avoid.

When you read into the article further, this is a rewrite of the grab that happened and was reported in Aug 24 so yes, it is lazy and sensationalism of a past story too.

Yep I actually hate the spotters, i have no issues with pics being taken and interest shown. But they run after you in groups, they follow you for miles on bikes and escooters. Thank god my cars are not all at my house. I always wonder how many actually love cars or just want to try and get clicks on insta. They share a database on us all too, apparently promoted by schmee - the more info they can find on you the better. I think London is the worst spot for them. Had no issues when driving LA last month for example, not one idiot.

I might start following them home 🤣

Unfortunately that’s the way it is now! Very few of them are genuinely in it because they’re a car enthusiast, it’s generally to try and get views on TikTok and instagram - hopefully it’s a phase and it’ll peter out but don’t see that happening unfortunately.

Worst story I’ve heard from up here recently is people following Sir Chris Hoy back to his house when he had a singer turbo study for the weekend. Took a video of the house name and everything and posted it in group chats.

Things like ECR are pretty detrimental to the scene too, I understand people want to keep a log of the cars they’ve seen (like seeing x amount of Zondas or something) - but keeping track of owners and finding out info is a step too far. The amount of people I’ve had message me when I’ve seen something and posted it begging for the VIN of the car too so they can post it on ECR, I never keep log of VINs outside of work (my work means I have to deal with them) so just tell them where to go 😂

We had a couple try and come down (we run an electric gate so werent allowed down the driveway). I went out on a road test a little while later and they were parked down the lane and stood around the gate.

All I said was "see that sign there that says Silverstone Shooting Centre, well we train armed police here and they dont take kindly to people taking pictures of the plain clothes ARV's that turn up so I'd fuck off now off if I were you or you'll find yourself carted off under the anti terrorism laws"

Never seen two spotty oiks move faster 🙂
