Hello folks, I signed up for this forum a while back but I don't think I ever posted anything.

Anyway newbie from Scotland here, although I work mainly in Saudi Arabia. Long term fan of all things automotive and I'm fortunate enough to have a few toys at home; not that I get much of a chance to use them though.

Get involved and hope to meet you at some point. And dont try and use the I’m in Scotland excuse as Footsoldier pops down south pretty much all the time. 😂

Many thanks :) Was beginning to wonder who I had to sleep with...:(whew):

Not trying to get the excuses in but I do live mostly in Bahrain, however would love to join some meets when I can!
 
Great collection - your M3 looks fabulous on CSL alloys and with the bootlid mod. Is it a manual or SMG?

Only twice last week...The "Welcome to Scotland" sign on the way home makes it all worthwhile.
 
Thanks, it’s an SMG... and I’m not ashamed to admit it :)

I fitted genuine CSL wheels, bootlid and rear diffuser. At the time I couldn’t get a hold of a genuine CSL carbon air box so I went with the Evolve airbox, which sounds sublime. Also fitted Bilstein PSS10 coilovers, supersprint exhaust and centre section. The car has only covered 200miles in 4 years, which I am ashamed to admit!

No better feeling crossing the border back into Bonnie Scotland ... with a wallet full of Scottish £20 notes that no one would accept :)

So, if you spend a great deal of your time in bahrain then money wont be an issue and as you love going back “into” Scotland so much you’ve just dig youself a hole 😂

At £30 a double JD, money is always an issue. But I can see how I have dug a small hole for myself! I will keep an eye out for the details of the track meet. Thanks
