Hi all,
New here but have been around other car forums, posting on PH, 911UK, PCGB etc
Also a long time member/regular over on AVF and TP for those into TV/Tech/Photography.
I only came across this following Mohan's invite to the RPM meet which I attended. It was good to see a nice selection of cars there which spurred me on to join here.
As you can see from the subject, I live in Norf London, near J24 of the M25 so handy for Herts and Essex.
I have owned a few 'sports' cars over the years including BMW M3s (a couple), Focus RS Mk1, Porsche 924 etc.
They only lasted 18 months at a time before the itch to change reared its head.
Currently, my 'sports' car is a Porsche 996 Turbo which I have owned for 5 years !!!
One of the best cars I have owned and hence why it is still with me.
It has taken a trip around the passes in the Alps, multiple runs/drives around the UK and a visit to the Le Mans Classic last year where it got to do a lap of the track.
Other cars in the stable are the requisite family wagon in the shape of a Range Rover Sport TDV8, an Audi A3 Cab (2.0 TSI petrol of course) for the sunny days and my little VW Lupo GTI for putting a smile on my face whilst managing to fit into small parking spaces !
