Cars owned: Porsche
Hello fellow S9er’s!
We/I have been guilty of paying for an advert banner on your lovely forum and aside from our annual open day together (Sunday, April 27th this year), not telling you an awful lot about what we’ve been and will be doing.
So, New Years resolutions and all, I’ll try and be more consistent…! Kicking off with the history of the Touring we have just listed below:
I have been chasing this car for a few years now. The owner is a good mate our of ours and bought it new from Porsche Silverstone, so after seven years of ownership I finally ground him down!
Lots of dealers harp on about provenance being so important, which it is, but not many can say they have known the car from day 1, mile 1! TBH we even talked about spec etc before he bought it.
History is metronomic – 2020 at 2.6k, 2022 8.5k, 2024 at 8.9k. 2020 and 2024 were done at OPC Silverstone, 2022 was done at OPC Cambridge as the owner fell out with Silverstone due to them overcharging when he price compared that year!
She’s always been under OPC warranty and wanted for nothing. A lovely example of the rare 991.2 Touring with single ownership, not the usual colours, no over-revs, never been painted or even had a wheel refurb and (not that it would bother us) zero track miles too. Only non standard part was the side decal which I was going to remove pre pictures but it actually grew on me, it can be removed it the buyer wanted though.
Anyhow link here, pro shots will go up online next week:

Once the year gets underway I'll cover other bits like interesting builds, projects and what we have going on etc too.
Cheers, Greig.
