Just back from Steve's "Flatsticks" funeral.
It was a lovely send off for our friend and buddy and it was clear that Steve's lovely wife Sue, and the boys had had the opportunity to prepare for this day that they had never wanted to arrive.
Sue was clearly very strong, quite exceptional actually and I hope that she has a good weep later as I expect she will need a release after today.
The Johnsons' can all now look toward their futures with their lovely old fella never far from their minds whilst trying to ensure he would be proud of them, and I know he would be. Steve will not be forgotten that's for sure.
