The depressing thing is that Harris will have to be "dumbed" down to cater for the majority of Top Gear viewers......the best thing about his YT channel is that it actually appeals to real petrol heads!

Agreed, CH makes some really good vids on YT. The best in fact from my perspective. I can't see why that should change whilst he is on BBC and hopefully he'll just be seen by millions more viewers in this manner that wouldn't have heard of him otherwise.

Be good for his "brand" if so.

There's a lot of bad feeling about the new Top Gear. For my part I watch both the new old Top Gear on Amazon and the new new Top Geear on BBC. If there's enough quality car content I'm sure I'll enjoy both.
