Dear Forum regulars,

Just thought I would post a hello on here as a newbie.
I am an Automotive professional and have specialised in Supercars for the last 13 years, so I am an out and out petrolhead!

I am involved in a fun new project and contacted an old friend whom is very important to this forum, and he kindly suggested I join and inform, help, assist and have fun, so here I am.

This is not the time to go into detail about what I can offer, that will come later when I have read some of your posts and got an idea of your thoughts, cars and interests.

All I will say is that the more you suggest and request from me, the more fun I can provide for you all.

Thanks for reading,

Ruttboy! :(y):

Welcome Ruttboy.

I'm intrigued so look forward to the reveal of further information at some point in the very near future.

Thanks Elms, good to see you on here and warm regards to you.

No Rat or alterior motive in my welcome post, you now have a very knowledgeable and experienced supercar enthusiast on here who is leading an exciting new project that is aimed at people like you.

Not going into details as firstly, we officially launch on August 1st and I am not ready to divulge until then, and secondly, this is the general section and I didn't want to break forum rules on posting about business in here.

But I can assure you that there has been a thread written about my expertise on here in the past, and I look forward to you all having the opportunity to join in what will be a lot of fun.

What I would like to ask you, as car enthusiasts and knowledgable people, is what, in your opinion, is missing from the modern day motor trade.
If someone could provide you a service, or supply you with a dealership that you would frequent on a social level, what would it look like and what service could it provide.
Genuine question from someone who is in a position to make a difference.

Thanks all,

Ruttboy.

And you would have got away with it if wasn't for those pesky kids !

OT - Sorted one for my client. Keep in touch re what we were discussing anyway.

Thanks for the correction Elms, beginning to wonder if the short skirt and tight blouse made you forget what I actually did........

For those who may want to know, I was also the Aftersales Manager for 2 central London Mercedes Benz dealerships before I left to do what I am doing now.

Cheers,

Ruttboy.

Well, if you want people to frequent the business on a social level then you've got to have a decent Coffee shop/snack bar, kind of Costa Coffee style with plenty of safe parking so it becomes a cool place that people want to go and chat. Trouble is though, the McDonalds brigade will likely take over once they sniff out the Supercars always there and then it's spoilt.
