It only costs about $100 to get designers from all over the world to submit concepts for logos these days. Get it crowd designed, job done.

Personally think its important that a logo looks good on light and dark backgrounds, and other things a proper designer will think about. Visualise it as a sticker on different coloured cars, if you will.
