This thread inspired me.... so spent last night in London having some photos done of the 650.

Have used George a number of times and once again, it was a pleasure. His knowledge on where and how to get a good shot is remarkable. Used the latest mirror-less Nikon last night, neat bit of kit... however the kit is nothing really, he's just got the eye for a good photo/location.


I love London at night, such a great background and the McLaren got nothing but positive attention... even from the fuzz. Reminded me just how much I love the car, blowing away the winter blues that had crept in the past month.


He's only had chance to "sort" one of the 7/8 locations we shot, but here's a taster. Once they are all done I'll update the thread with more.

For me location 2 would also work well with none if the traffic lights on the car, or a solitary one.

Just rediscovered these George pics from about 6 years ago. Magazine article featuring my car, just before I bought it.
Didn’t know GFW at the time, but he was very helpful when I got in touch and asked if I could use the pics.

It's an incredibly challenging colour to shoot at night and I wanted to have a dreamy feel to the photos, so it's taking me a little while to retouch the photos, but I'm enjoying the process on this one!

I really like the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th pics from the above set. The 3rd to me has lost the colour and lines of the car too much although it's a really great back drop.

Having said that, I'm not criticising as my own pics would be shite !

It's been a few years since I used my rig, so I put it back into action yesterday with this test shot! Forgot how much I love doing rig shots, so will be doing lots more in the future!
